Our Unique Wood Vacuum Kiln-Drying Process
Different from conventional timber drying processes, our specialists know how best to remove the level of excess moisture from the waney edge wood slabs to a precise degree. As a result, this patented wood drying technology adds considerable value to your chosen item. Your solid wood table, wood bar top, wood kitchen island or bathroom vanity top will be high quality, stable, robust, hard-wearing and of course, absolutely fabulous.
Earthy Timber operates a vacuum kiln-drying chamber on-site. Wood that has not been vacuum kiln-dried to below 10% moisture content can warp or move uncontrollably.

As a company driven by ethical values and our love of natural beautiful things, we strongly believe in environmental sustainability. Wood provenance is fully traceable. Earthy Timber acquires timber from National Trust , Farm Community Trusts, Forestry Commission, salvage yards, private English woodlands & estates.
If you’d like to preserve special family memories, we can even work with wood from a felled tree from your garden that has died of natural causes. To stay within environmental laws, Earthy Timber will be responsible for validating that it has died “naturally”, or that it has been felled with all the appropriate, valid permissions.
