This is our most cost effective option and represents a natural stage in the full stave walnut kitchen island worktop’s craftsmanship journey. The unfinished walnut kitchen island worktop is produced to the same high structural and material standards as all of our finished walnut kitchen island worktops and is supplied in a completely raw, unfinished state. These walnut kitchen island worktops feature open knots, fissures, voids, and unfinished edges typical of characterful timber from salvaged trees. Filling of knots or voids using wood filler, resin, or other materials is optional and entirely at the client’s discretion. Extensive sanding, cleaning and smoothing edges, surface preparation, filling open features, and the application of a protective finish are the responsibility of the client. This option is best suited for those on a tight budget who are prepared to do the work themselves or have a tradesperson handle the entire finishing process.

Sanded Only Walnut Kitchen Island Worktop
Fully sanded to a smooth, uniform surface and ready for your chosen protective finish. This is our most flexible and popular option for projects that include custom installations like sinks or taps. Once cutouts are done, simply apply your preferred oil or lacquer on site for a consistent colour and protection across the surface.

Ready to install with your chosen finish already applied. We offer:
