Organic walnut dining table with subtle resin accents and custom steel legs for Sarah & John of Assael Architecture. Roaming the spectrum of natural design and modern technology, the luxury dining surface is comprised of three solid walnut slabs carefully engineered to merge in their live edges, resulting in a smooth river effect at the joints. These slabs were precisely dried using our on-site vacuum kiln to ensure minimal moisture content and maximal durability. Vacuum kiln-drying is an exclusive process to Earthy Timber and a staple of all our projects, yielding premium quality timber with an increased resistance to variations in humidity and temperature.

SMOOTH RIVER EFFECTS

The raw texture of the planks is contrasted by a sturdy set of steel, trapezium legs – an elegant transition between pure beauty and forged strength. Calibrated to the size of the wooden top, the bespoke metal legs directly correspond with the live edges and allow for the freedom of movement, providing peak comfort and stability.
